Summer is just around the corner, and you know that means that music festivals are upon us. When you head out to a music festival you want to look stylish...but not like you are trying too hard. It doesn't matter if you are going to Coachella, Bonnaroo, or Lollapalooza...Snapshot Fashion has a few simple rules to putting together the ultimate outfit.
 
~make sure you have a big enough purse with you so you can carry along water, snacks, sunblock, etc.
~protect those eyes by wearing either sunglasses or a hat
~wear cute but comfortable shoes

Today's offender---Mischa Barton.

Over the years Mischa's personal style has made me...sad. Sad because every once in a while she goes out to an event and actually looks nice, and I think to myself WHY CAN'T SHE ALWAYS LOOK THIS GOOD?!?!?! She even played a super stylish character on the O.C., so you think she would have learned a thing or two about fashion.


Mischa, I have finally had enough! Enough of the mom jeans, high waisted shorts, unflattering rompers, and clothing that just doesn't fit you anymore. You are by NO MEANS fat, but the items you often wear make you look a good 20-30 pounds heavier than you actually are. Come on, you can dress better than this! I've put together three great looks that would look fabulous on you.

*Get Styled*

Some of you know this already, but for those of you that don't a dream job of mine is to be a fashion stylist. My inner control freak wants to tell EVERYONE what they should (and shouldn't) wear. I thought it would be fun to share some of my styling ideas on Snapshot Fashion in a new regular post called *Get Styled*.

Today I'm taking on a girl that has her very own distinct style: Taylor Momsen. Now don't get me wrong, I love an edgy rocker look...but I think Taylor pushes this look a tad too far. I mean, the fact that she is ONLY 16 leaves me speechless! Gosh, if I was 16 and tried to dress like this my mother wouldn't let me leave the house.


Here I put together a number of age appropriate rocker looks that any 16 year old would love to wear.
