Accessorize Your Quarantine Look

I’m not sure about you, but my wardrobe hasn’t been too exciting lately. I’m still working from home which means sitting at my computer all day long. I have so many pretty work appropriate dresses just sitting in my closet, but I can’t bring myself to wear them right now. I know, some fashion blogger I am. But the one thing that I have been embracing during this quarantine time at home are accessories.

I have been wearing bold lips, earrings (I even opened up some semi-closed earring holes as a quarantine project), and headbands. I think headbands are the easiest thing you can throw on to jazz up any look.

This satin headband I just picked up from J.Crew is so adorable. Not only is it my favorite color combo (red and pink!), but the bow can bend and move. How fun is that!?!? So the next time you are dressed down (errr…tomorrow?) and your hair is a mess try throwing on a cute headband instead of putting your hair up in a ponytail. It will definitely elevate your style!

On Trend: Headbands

I’ve always loved headbands. I am a child of the ‘80s after all. Growing up the ‘80s and ‘90s headbands were a part of my every day wardrobe. I had an entire drawer in my dresser devoted to them. So you would understand how happy I am to see that these adorable accessories are back with a serious bang!

France Forever In My Heart

Fall is definitely in the air, which means I get to wear jackets again on these chilly mornings! Yay! I seriously couldn't be happier. Now if it would just stay in the 60's all year long...

I have been searching high and low for the perfect army green utility jacket and I randomly came across it at Crossroads Trading Co. You know I love a good deal...so you know I was jumping for joy when I snagged this jacket for only $13.50! The most exciting thing is that it is still on Target's website (for $39.99) so you can get it too!

I stopped by the opening launch party for the new Birdcage Shop at Lord & Taylor earlier this week. This French inspired shop was absolutely adorable and left me longing for another trip back to Paris. French chocolates, berets, and cute clothing with French sayings on them were everywhere. You know I love everything French...the food, the art, the fashion. I can't believe that at this time a year ago we were in Paris. How time flies!

I was really excited to see that the fabulous customizing company Bow & Drape were a part of it. I found this super cute bandana that I customized with a cute beaded heart. Don't you love it?

My pup Rocko wanted to show off his fun scarf too! Matching his mommy in red and stripes! Isn't he so handsome???

I'd love to know, what are your favorite trends for fall???

Sunglasses Under $30

The summer is in full swing, which means that sunglasses are a must! I hate spending a ton of money on a pair of shades because I will without a doubt sit on them, scratch them, or lose them. But who says buying a pair of inexpensive sunnies has to unstylish? I put together a list of my favorite styles for the summer season all priced at under $30!

CAT EYES

Madison Cat-Round Sunglasses available at Urban Outfitters- $18

You may have seen me in these shades. They are my favorite!!! I love that cat-eye detail (reminds me of my eyeliner). Personally, I love larger sunglasses that cover my entire eye.

QUIRKY

Summer Retro Sunglasses available at LOFT- $24.50 + 40% off

There is nothing better than a pair of fun, cute, and quirky shades! This pink pair definitely fits that bill. Aren't they just adorable???

ROUND

Oversized Round Triple Frame Sunglasses available at Express- $29.90

These are so perfect for the inner hippie in all of us. Pair them with your favorite flower crown and boho maxi dress to get that perfect festival look.

CLASSIC

Aviator Sunglasses available at American Eagle Outfitters- $15.95

You can't go wrong with a pair of aviators. These sunglasses definitely aren't going out of style anytime soon. Always so cool...these are a symbol of summer style through the ages.
