New Orleans: Part Two

dress (similar): H&M/tights: H&M/ booties: Chelsea Crew Black Label/purse: H&M

Truth be told, I'm kind of obsessed with this dress. Yes, I know I look more like Wednesday Addams than a Southern Belle...but I'm from NYC, so deal with it.  :-)

Here is a final roundup of some my favorite shots while on our New Orleans trip. Enjoy!

My husband was horsing around...and so were the horses...

One thing that really won over my heart in New Orleans was the bright and bold colors. Blue shutters, purple doors, hot pink front stoops...and even this gate door that was covered in bottle caps! So charming and quirky...I love it.

And I'm not one for nature (at all), but these trees were amazingly beautiful!

All in all we had a nice trip...saw a lot. If you followed along on my Instagram you got to see even more shots from our adventure. It was so good to get out of NYC for a little...but we're glad to be back.

Now...where to next???

Crazy Cat Lady

Okay...not really. I am a dog person. But, I am totally obsessed with these adorable cat tights. The only thing cuter would be if they had my dog Rocko's face on them. Hmmm...now there is an idea!

cute kitten faces on the front

adorable tails on the back

The first time I wore these tights I must have gotten stopped about ten times from people on the streets of NYC saying that they loved them. When I would turn around to show them that they also had tails they would burst out in laughter saying that my legwear was awesome. Totally made my day! Humor through legwear...I love it!!!

She & Him

So today is a big day. My husband (Chris) is making his first official appearance in an outfit post. He's been seen on the blog here and there over the years, and is all over my instagram feed. Typically he's behind the scenes taking my photos...but I thought it would be fun to bring him into the mix of Snapshot Fashion's style posts.

I think this is my new favorite dress. It's so light and comfy...and isn't the print just lovely?!

One thing the two of us agree on is that we love Brooklyn Industries. Even though about 1/4 of my wardrobe is probably from that store, I think it would be safe to say the same for my husband.

If you are loving these looks be sure to stop by Brooklyn Industries today where they are having a mega sale. They are taking an extra 40% off of sale styles and 25% off of full price graphic tees and bags. The sale is online and in the store...but it ends today, so don't wait!

So everyone please give Chris a warm welcome...as I'm sure you'll be seeing much more of him on Snapshot Fashion in the future.
