Would You Wear This?

Usually I really love stripes. But Tyra's love for this pattern is a bit overwhelming. All I have to say is Ty-Ty, why why?!!??!??! I think my biggest issue with this outfit is the sleeves. Oh those sleeves! If you take the big sleeves away this dress would actually be very flattering on her (and very 1950's inspired).

Would You Wear This?

Something that I have been meaning to talk about for a while...JUMPSUITS. I have to admit, I'm not really a fan. Every now and then I might come across one that I would consider wearing...but for the most part this is a trend that I wish would have stayed in the 1970's.

Tyra Banks obviously loves this trend. Here she is wearing one to the CW: Welcome to Reality party in NYC. Now don't get me wrong, I love Tyra. Typically I think she looks amazing in just about anything and everything...but not this time. The tapered wrists and ankles...eeekkk! If this look doesn't look flattering on Tyra, the odds are it probably won't look all that great on you either.

ANTM For Shorties

So tonight Cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model premieres on the CW. This cycle is very different from all the other cycles in the past. The top model hopefuls are all UNDER 5'7". Now I am 5'7" so you would think that I would be excited for this season...but I'm really not. Models are suppose to be tall. I really think they should have stuck to their previous requirement of 5'7" and taller. There is no way some girl who is 5'3" is going to make it in this industry. NO WAY. I think back to so many past contestants that were said to be too short by other designers (while they were on their go sees), and they were 5'7"-5'9".

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that Tyra is giving these girls an opportunity...but I don't see them getting a career out of this. Let's see if they prove me wrong.
